Miss Universe Philippines national director and former Miss Universe 2011 3rd runner up Shamcey Supsup-Lee has shown her support to Miss Universe Philippines Celeste Cortesi as the prestigious international pageant is fast approaching.
In an Instagram post on Sunday, Shamcey shared some photos of the two of them stunning in black and brown bodycon dresses.
“The Miss Universe fever is definitely on!!! And I have nothing but love and admiration for our very own @celeste_cortesi 💗💗💗,” she captioned.
“The weeks leading up to the pageant had been tough but through the ups and downs she has shown bravery, humility and authenticity,” Shamcey added.
She thanked Celeste for trusting their team and the pageant’s management.
“I have complete faith that you will bring honor and pride to the Philippines,” Shamcey told Celeste.

The 36-year-old beauty queen also asked the fans and supporters of Celeste to continue praying for her as she fulfills her destiny.
“May I present to you…our next Miss Universe! #Manifesting,” Shamcey said.
The 71st Miss Universe National Costume and Preliminary Competition are set on January 11 (January 12, Manila Time).
The final competition, meanwhile, is slated for Saturday, January 14 (January 15, Manila Time).
It will be aired live from the New Orleans Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, United States.
Only one of the 84 beauty queens from around the world will take home the crown.
