Two fishermen found a block of shabu afloat by the shores of Barangay Masisit, Sanchez Mira, Cagayan.
Sanchez Mira Chief of Police PMAJ Jeorge Jacob confirmed the contraband was shabu after an examination done by the Cagayan police forensic unit.
Weighing one kilo, the shabu is equivalent to more than P6.8 million.
The packaging bore Chinese markings similar to the ones retrieved from the West Philippine Sea (WPS) by fishermen in Ilocos Norte and Ilocos Sur.
