SEVENTEEN's Dino has tested positive for COVID-19, his agency announced on Wednesday.

According to the translated statement on Soompi, PLEDIS Entertainment said all the 13 members took an RT-PCR test in Los Angeles, ahead of their concert tour in the US, but only Dino tested positive. He is said to have gone into self-quarantine with a mild sore throat.

Due to this, the K-pop idol will be skipping SEVENTEEN's Los Angeles concert slated on August 17 and their “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” guesting on August 18.

Meanwhile, the Houston concert on August 20 “will proceed as planned with the 12 members except for Dino who will thoroughly comply with the guidelines of the health authorities in the United States.”

"We will continue to provide support for the rapid recovery of Dino, placing our highest priority on the health and safety of our artists. We will also continue to fully cooperate with the requests and guidelines of healthcare authorities," the label said.

SEVENTEEN is currently in the United States for the North American leg of their “BE THE SUN” World Tour.

The group is set to perform in Manila on October 8 and 9 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
