Senator Sherwin 'Win' Gatchalian is eyeing to file a bill seeking to prohibit students from using their mobile phones inside classrooms during school hours and instead, encourage them to return to reading books.
Gatchalian said he will also file a bill declaring the month of November as the National Reading Month.
This is in line with his bid to encourage more Filipinos to read and buy more books.
