The Senate of the Philippines implemented shorten hours on Tuesday, January 9 in line with the Feast of the Black Nazarene.
In an advisory signed by Senator Juan Miguel Ziburi, all Senate offices must work until 2 p.m. only.
Committee hearings, technical working groups, and other meetings may proceed unless otherwise directed by the chairperson.
Meanwhile, the Office of the Seargent-At-Arms and Maintenance and General Services Bureau personnel who follow a shifting schedule are not in the shortened work hours.
