Senate President Miguel Zubiri has confirmed that he and House Speaker Martin Romualdez have reconciled in front of President Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos.
The two shook hands and talked during the centennial celebration of Chief Presidential Legal Counsel Juan Ponce Enrile in the Malacañang Palace on Wednesday, February 14.
"Good news. Nag-usap na kami ni Speaker kanina. Sabi namin ay let's work professionaly. Itigil muna ang bangayan and let's continue working for the administration, para sa ating mga kababayan. Hindi naman maganda kung palagi kaming nagbabangayan, nag-aaway," he told reporters in an interview.

Last month, the Senate and House leaders had a heated exchange amidst talks on Charter change or amending the 1987 Constitution.
In their manifesto rejecting the People's Initiative, senators slammed congressmen for having "a dispensable and diluted role in Chater Change."
Zubiri said he look forward to meeting Romualdez again next week, noting that their interaction at the birthday party was short.
He added that he and the house speaker agreed to "work together to pass legislation for the people."
Senator Ramon 'Bong' Revilla first told reporters that Zubiri and Romualdez shook hands while inside the same room with the president.
"Nagkamayan. Sinabi ko, 'Oh ceasefire na, tama na ah'. Sabi, 'Oo naman, nagkamayan na kami'. It's a good start. Hindi naman natin mabigla iyan," he said, adding that he hope that the two leaders would no longer bicker.
