Press Secretary Trixie Cruz-Angeles announced that she has tested negative for the 2019 Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) after taking an RT-PCR (real-time reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction)test on Sunday, August 21.

“Energetic. Am back at work sa flag ceremony," Cruz-Angeles said on Monday, August 22, in a message to reporters.

Cruz-Angeles announced last August 15 that she tested positive for COVID-19 via RT-PCR, and underwent isolation but continued to hold press briefings, and even attended a Senate hearing, via teleconferencing.

Meanwhile, Cruz-Angeles urges the public to avail the vaccines, as well as the booster shots, against the viral disease.
