Authorities apprehended a security screening officer on Monday, June 26, at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 1 for stealing a cell phone at a charging station.

Reports identified the suspect as Rudolf Aquinde.

CCTV footage showed the suspect taking the mobile phone, which reportedly belonged to an airport wheelchair attendant, and placing it inside his safety vest.

The Office for Transportation Security said that the Airport Police Department (APD) went down to the baggage make-up area, and identified Aquinde, who wore the same vest and eyeglasses.
