The Supreme Court (SC) announced work suspensions in all courts nationwide on Monday, September 25.
In an advisory released by the Philippine Supreme Court Public Information Office, the SC suspended court work in line with the celebration of Kainang Pamilya Mahalaga Day.

"To encourage officers and employees of the Judiciary to spend more time with their families, work in all courts nationwide is suspended from 3:00 p.m. onwards today, September 25, 2023, under Memo Order 112-2023, in celebration of Kainang Pamilya Mahalaga Day," SC said in its advisory.
Under Kainang Pamilya Mahalaga Day, pursuant to Proclamation No. 326, the last week of September of every year has been declared a Family Week, encouraging government workers and their families to take time to celebrate in their respective homes.
On September 21, the Memorandum was signed by Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin with the authority of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.
