The 2023 Bar Examination will be held in September next year, the Supreme Court (SC) announced on Thursday, Dec. 8.
In a bulletin, SC said it reduced the days of examination from the traditional four days to three days.
The new exam schedules are September 17 (Sunday), September 20 (Wednesday), and September 24 (Sunday).
Meanwhile, the scope of the exams was also lessened to six core subjects — two subjects will be taken per day.
The subjects included are Political and Public International Law; Commercial and Taxation Laws; Civil Law, Labor Law, and Social Legislation; Criminal Law, and Remedial Law; Legal and Judicial Ethics with Practical Exercises.
The higher court said the Bar Exams will still be digitized and regionalized.
"The Office of the 2023 Bar Chair enjoins all applicants and concerned stakeholders to exclusively rely on the following official communication channels for accurate, verified, and updated information regarding the 2023 Bar Examinations,” it noted.
