The Supreme Court has announced work suspensions for several courts in the country on Monday, September 4, due to bad weather.

In separate advisories, operations were suspended in:

  • Hall of Justice, Lingayen, Pangasinan
  • All courts in Dagupan City, Pangasinan

Class suspension and cancelled flights

Meanwhile, several cities and municipalities have announced class suspensions due to the inclement weather brought by the enhanced southwest monsoon, or habagat.

The Manila International Airport Authority also announced several flight cancellations.

According to PAGASA, Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal (TCWS) No. 1 in Batanes has been retained and will make landfall in Kaohsiung City in Taiwan.

The state weather bureau said the center of the eye of Typhoon Hanna was seen 265 kilometers (km) northwest of Itbayat, Batanes, or in the vicinity of Kaohsiung City, Taiwan.
