SB19 is kicking off the year with another major milestone on the global stage!
The P-pop kings’ EP "Simula at Wakas" has secured the No. 10 spot on CDJapan’s Top 100 Annual Chart for 2025, marking yet another international feat for the group.
According to the ranking posted on CDJapan’s website, the EP sits alongside major global releases, trailing behind Stray Kids’ Hollow at No. 1, ONE OK ROCK’s 20th anniversary vinyl LP at No. 3, and Lady Gaga’s Mayhem at No. 4.
CDJapan is an online retailer founded in 1997 that caters to fans worldwide, offering Japan-released CDs, collectibles, and merchandise. SB19 rolled out the physical edition of "Simula at Wakas" in Japan last September.
"Simula at Wakas" was officially released on April 25, 2025, serving as the concluding chapter of SB19’s three-part EP trilogy. The trilogy began with "Pagsibol "and moved forward with "Pagtatag!", ultimately leading to this final installment that brings the group’s multi-era story full circle.
The EP features the fan-favorite track “DAM,” which secured the No. 9 spot on Stationhead’s Digital Music Purchases of 2025 and impressively debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales chart.
Adding to their banner year, SB19 also staged a massive two-night concert at the Philippine Arena in May to kick off their Simula at Wakas world tour.
SB19 is composed of Pablo, Josh, Stell, Ken, and Justin and continues to dominate the P-pop scene with hit songs such as “MAPA” and “GENTO.”
