P-pop sensation SB19 continuously make its name on the international scene after being included in MsMojo’s "Top 20 Best Modern Boy Bands" list.
The five-piece act landed on the 20th spot as the best guy group that rose to fame after the year the 2000s.
"The incredibly talented ensemble blends a wide variety of musical stylings and sensibilities to form a wholly unique sound. SB19’s ambitious choices have helped them become trailblazers for a new generation of Filipino music," MsMojo, a Canada-based entertainment platform, described the group.
MsMojo additionally stated that the group's song Get Up went viral and that they were appointed Young Ambassadors by the National Council for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) for their global influence and promotion of Filipino culture.
"After going viral in 2019, their fame led to the band making music history by earning top Billboard music award nominations," it added.
"To honor their impact, SB19 has been officially named youth ambassadors for representing the Philippines culture and stories around the world," MsMojo continued.
Also included in the list are EXO, SHINee, SEVENTEEN, BIGBANG, and SUPER M, with BTS at the top of the list.
SB19 made its debut in October 2018 with members Pablo, Josh, Stell, Ken, and Justin. Among their hits are "Bazinga," "MAPA," "WYAT," and "Alab."
