P-pop kings SB19 have once again proved their talent as their song hit “Gento” has been an approved entry for the 66th Grammy Awards, vying for a shot in the Recording Academy’s Grammy Awards 2024.

Sony Music Philippines confirmed the great news by posting a “For Your Consideration (FYC)” poster on the social media platform “X” (formerly Twitter).

The label's marketing campaign asks the public to vote for the group.

“A'TIN!!!! Mag ingay!!!! @SB19Official's GENTO is an approved entry to the GRAMMY's,” it said on their post.

“Gento” is a part of the group’s extended play “PAGTATAG! ", which has become a popular dance craze on TikTok with local and Korean celebrities who done the dance cover.

It landed at No. 8 on the Billboard World Digital Song Sales chart in June.

Meanwhile, SB19, which consists of Pablo, Stell, Ken, Justin, and Josh, is now preparing for the Asian leg of their “PAGTATAG! World Tour” in November.

The group, which debuted in 2018, rose to fame for their hit songs Go Up, What? Bazinga, Maps, WYAT, and others.
