Good news to all senior citizens and other eligible customers, you can now treat yourselves a coffee and pastry without worrying too much about the bill!
Starbucks Philippines has announced that there would be a 40 percent discount on all food and beverages purchased by senior citizens, persons with disabilities (PWDs), national athletes, eligible solo parents, and a medal of valor.
The special discount can be availed from 5 AM to 11:59 PM today only, January 24.
The renowned coffee house said the promo is strictly for the eligible customers' "exclusive use and personal consumption."
The eligible customers only have to present their valid, original, actual, and/or physical identification card or ID to avail the 40 percent discount.
The promo is applicable for dine-in, take-out, and drive-thru in all Starbucks stores throughout the country, and eligible customers must be personally present.
"Personal Cup / Tumbler ₱10 discount is applicable for eligible customers who will bring their own tumbler to the store," Starbucks noted.
The promo was announced two weeks after the renowned coffeehouse drew flak online for displaying signage in one of its branches, advising seniors and PWDs that their discount cards would be limited to one food item and one beverage per visit.

Some Starbucks Philippines officials were then summoned to a House hearing where they fully acknowledged and apologized for the error made in the now-taken-down signage.
