Actress Sarah Lahbati has reacted to her viral photo with a mystery man in Hong Kong.
In an interview, Lahbati said that she recently visited Hong Kong to attend the Art Basel fair and to meet up with her friends, including the mystery man.
"I went to Hong Kong to experience the art. It's always been a dream of mine to travel around and I was happy that I was able to go. And that photo circulating around is my friend. I visited Hong Kong and met up with different friends," she revealed.
The actress said she is not bothered by the rumors, noting that she is allowing herself to enjoy her time as a single woman.
"Is it unfair? Is It bothering me? No. It take a lot more for something to bother me. But I think, as a woman, we're all allowed to have guy friends. Again, it's okay to speculate because again I'm single and it's part of a whole new thing," she said.
The clarification comes after veteran showbiz reporter Ogie Diaz mentioned on his YouTube vlog that Lahbati was seen dining with a mystery man in Hong Kong, citing an anonymous source.

It was earlier in March when Lahbati confirmed that she and her husband Richard Gutierrez are no longer together. The couple tied the knot in 2020 after dating for eight years and share two children together: Zion and Kai.
The actress is set to make her acting comeback with the teleserye “Lumuhod Ka sa Lupa.” It also stars Kiko Estrada and Sid Lucero.
