Soloist Sandara Park is coming!
On Wednesday, 2NE1's Sandara Park revealed that she has been working on her first solo album as a K-pop idol, and gave some spoilers to her fans and supporters.
"I will give big spoiler!!! The concept of my album will be “Sandara Park” 😎🌴" she wrote in a Twitter post.
The 38-year-old singer and actress said her album will have a tropical vibe but in her own style.
In a radio interview last January, Sandara confirmed that she will be debuting as a solo artist.
She earlier said that her solo album is set to be released in the Summer of 2023.
In a separate tweet, Sandara said she could not stop talking about the album even though it is still winter in Korea, and spring is about to come before the Summer season.
"Just relax for now🙏🏻" she told her fans and supporters.
Sandara debuted in the South Korean girl group 2NE1 under the Korean music label YG Entertainment.
After the group disbanded in 2016, she tried hosting television shows, and acting, and established her own Youtube channel.
In 2021, she left YG and signed with ABYSS Company.
