A one-way traffic scheme has been implemented in front of San Juan Cemetery starting today as All Souls' Day is commemorated.
According to a report by RH Edniel Parrosa, starting November 1 until November 3, vehicles coming from EDSA Quezon City will not be allowed to enter the road leading to San Juan.
As of 5 a.m., some vehicles were not following the rerouting scheme and were not turning right onto Second Avenue towards Mariposa as directed.
Expect that if traffic increases, the opposite lane will be fully blocked to enforce the one-way rule.
San Juan Cemetery typically opens at 6 a.m. and closes at 6 p.m., but San Juan City Mayor Francis Zamora has extended operating hours until midnight.
Meanwhile, flower vendors have reported slow sales compared to previous years.
