It is normal to make mistakes, especially when you're "puyat."
One of the strongest characters in Jose Rizal's Noli Me Tangere novel, Elias, is perfectly portrayed by Kapuso actor Rocco Nacino.
But there is one thing that the actor can't escape while portraying the role: making mistakes.
On his personal Facebook account, Nacino shared a blooper of him mistakenly mentioning a different word from the original line, which he captioned "Isa sa kapalpakan ni Elias."
It was an intense scene where Elias and Fidel, played by David Licauco, are holding rifles while hiding from the enemies in the woods, which Nacino should have said but was totally out of character.
"Patuloy kaming makikipag-pulutan," he stated for the supposed line, leaving Licauco and the whole production team laughing.
Licauco, while laughing, jokingly said, "Tara, inom," while the production crew added, "Yung isang case dito ah!"
In his caption, Rocco said, "[Kapag] puyat na at mali mali na sa lines. Tara shot @davidlicauco."
"Maria Clara at Ibarra" got an extended run and will air its finale on February 24.
