Actor and host Robi Domingo brought up the possibility of legal action against a supposed DonBelle fan who threatened him with severe backlash following a Sunday Instagram update.
Domingo took to social media to celebrate his role as co-host, alongside Melai Cantiveros, of the 7th season of reality competition show Pilipinas Got Talent.

“@iamrobindomingo (Domingo) ay subukan mo lang na i-match si @donny (Donny Pangilinan) at @bernardokath (Kathryn Bernardo) ready ready and solid supporters ni Belle Mariano na ibash ka mula ulo mo hanggang paa. WAG MO ITOLERATE yung KA LANDIAN ng peste mong kaibigan,” one user said in the comments.
Donny Pangilinan, who is paired on-screen with Belle Mariano as the “New Gen Phenomenal Loveteam” DonBelle, along with Kathryn Bernardo, Eugene Domingo, and Freddie “FMG” Garcia, are the judges this season. However, Mariano will not be in the show.
“Can I consider this as a threat? Can I take legal actions against this?” Domingo queried, as a response.
“I don’t tolerate this behavior,” he added.
Belle’s fans were quick to clear the air. “Bellelievers Official,” which considers itself to be Mariano’s official fan club, claimed the user was a troll account posing as a fan of Mariano’s.
“We would like to formally address the presence of troll accounts falsely claiming to be fans of Belle Mariano, using her name to spread negativity and drag other artists,” the fan club said in a statement.
As fans of the actress, whom they regard as an “advocate for kindness, professionalism, and respect,” they said they denounce hostility online, fake news, and “unnecessary rivalries.”
“True fans of Belle Mariano understand the importance of respect and unity,” the group added.
