Rivermaya was among the biggest bands in the Philippines during the 1990s after releasing their self-titled album “Rivermaya” in 1994.
In 1995, one of the members, Perf de Castro, left the band, followed by Bamboo in 1998 and Blanco in 2007.
With only Escueta and Azarcon being the only original members left, along with their longest-serving guitarist, Mike Elgar, Rivermaya is still active today.
Some of the songs that have been popularized by the alternative rock band are 214, Kisapmata, and Liwanag sa Dilim.
Meanwhile, tickets for the reunion concert will be available at SM Tickets, and ticket sales will begin on November 17 at 3:00 p.m.
