Rhian Ramos received the President’s Medal as an Ambassador of Peace for the United Nations Association of the Philippines (UNAP).
In her Instagram account, Ramos expressed her appreciation to the organization, saying that she is privileged to be part of the collective effort toward the realization of the UN’s sustainable development goals.
"My appreciation to the leadership, officers, and to the office of the United Nations Association of the Philippines for this recognition," she said.
"This is proof that we all have a role to play, even in our most humble ways, to create a world where peace prevails, where differences are celebrated and where everyone can thrive in respect and understanding," Ramos continued.

Last month, Ramos led the lighting of the candle of peace at a peace gathering event at the Libingan ng mga Bayani during its 78th anniversary.
Meanwhile, the Kapuso actress is part of the Encantadia spin-off “Sang'gre" as Mitena with Bianca Umali, Faith Da Silva, Angel Guardian, and Kelvin Miranda.
