British singer-songwriter Alexander James O’Connor, popularly known by his stage name Rex Orange County, is set to perform in Manila for his first-ever concert!
On Tuesday, Rex Orange County dropped the schedule of his New Zealand, Australia, and Asian leg for his 2023 concert tour.
“this has been a long time coming , i am SO excited to be announcing these shows and playing some of these cities for the first time. tickets go on sale this week - for more information go to rexorangecounty.com/live,” he captioned in an Instagram post.
The 25-year-old singer will hold his solo concert on at the Araneta Coliseum in Cubao, Quezon City on October 8.

Concert tour promoter and production company Insignia Presents unveiled the seat plan and ticket price details for Rex Orange County's concert.
Ticket for the lower box seat is priced at ₱3,180, patron seat for ₱4,030, VIP seated for 4,770, and VIP standing for ₱4,770.
The sale of tickets is set at 11 AM on Friday, June 16 via the website of Insignia Presents or any outlets of TicketNet.
The British singer-songwriter was supposed to head in the country last 2020 for his solo concert, but this was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak.
Rex Orange County was discovered by English musician and producer Two Inch Punch in 2015. After making a series of collaborations with various music artists, he released “Best Friend” in 2017 and this charted on music platforms.
He then became popular for the songs “Loving Is Easy” featuring Dutch pop musician Benny Sings, “Pluto Projector”, “Television/So Far So Good”, and many more.
His song “THE SHADE” from his album “WHO CARES?" also became a music trend on platforms like TikTok and Instagram.
