The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board for Professional Teachers (BPT) have officially released the results of the Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (L.E.P.T.) conducted on March 19, 2023, in 37 testing centers across the Philippines.
Out of 60,896 elementary teacher examinees, 24,819 successfully passed the exam, resulting in a pass rate of 40.76%.
Similarly, 48,005 out of 102,272 secondary teacher examinees (a pass rate of 46.94%) have successfully passed the licensure examination.
Among the elementary teacher passers, 19,390 were first-time examinees, while 5,429 were repeaters.
For the secondary teachers, 39,890 were first-time examinees, and 8,115 were repeaters.
The announcement mentioned that the results of six examinees are currently being withheld for further validation of their submitted documents.
Registration for the issuance of a Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be open on the following dates:
- June 13-16, 19-23, 26-28, and 30, 2023;
- July 3-7, 10-14, 17-20, 21, 24-28;
- August 1-4, 7-11, and 14-17, 2023
Applicants must prepare the necessary documents for the issuance of the Certificate of Registration and Professional Identification Card (ID). These include:
- Notice of Admission (for identification purposes only)
- A downloaded and duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
- Two passport-sized colored photographs with a white background and complete nametag
- Two sets of documentary stamps, and one piece of a short brown envelope
Successful examinees are required to personally register and sign in to the Roster of Registered Professionals.
Details regarding the oath-taking ceremonies for the newly successful examinees will be announced at a later date.
