The remains of the six passengers onboard the Cessna 206 plane that was previously reported missing were successfully retrieved from Barangay Ditarum in Divilacan Municipality, Isabela province.
In its latest update on Sunday, March 12, Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) - Isabela said the retrieval team has brought down the pilot and five passengers at the Divilican town proper.
The cadavers are expected to arrive at Cauayan, Isabela on Monday, March 13.
Meanwhile, in a Facebook post, Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) K9 force said the remains were in the stage of decomposition when they found them on the crash site.
Last March 9, Rescue 715 Maconacon sighted the wreckage of the missing Cessna plane in the north of Barangay Ditarum in Divilacan Municipality, Isabela province.
The team reported earlier that none of the six victims survived.
The passengers were earlier identified as pilot Captain Eleazar Mark Joven and passengers Tommy Manday, Val Kamatoy, Mark Eiron Siguerra, Xam Siguerra, and Josefa Perla España.
