The remains of four overseas Filipino workers who died in a factory fire in Taiwan arrived in the country early Sunday.

According to the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), their bodies were released at a cargo center in Parañaque City.

The Manila Economic and Cultural Office (MECO) and OWWA officials and personnel expressed condolences and aided the relatives in claiming the OFWs' remains.

In collaboration with the OWWA regional offices, they also assisted in arranging for the return of the OFWs' remains to their respective provinces.

On April 25, a fire overtook the factory of Lian-Hwa Foods Corporation in Changhua County, central Taiwan, killing the victims.
