Hollywood star Reese Witherspoon announced a divorce from her husband, talent agent Jim Toth, two days before their 12th wedding anniversary.
The two penned a joint statement on Instagram.
"We have some personal news to share. It is with a great deal of care and consideration that we have made the difficult decision to divorce," they announced.
"We have enjoyed so many wonderful years together and are moving forward with deep love, kindness, and mutual respect for everything we have created together," they continued.

As they welcome the new chapter in life, their 'biggest priority' is their son, 10-year-old Tennessee James, the two added
"These matters are never easy and extremely personal," the former couple wrote.
They also said to appreciate everyone's respect for their family while going through the path.
On March 26, 2011, the former couple wed in an exquisite ceremony in Ojai, California.
With her first marriage to Ryan Phillippe, Reese also has two children: Ava, 23, and Deacon, 19.
