Red Velvet’s Irene has renewed her contract with SM Entertainment, according to the music label’s official statement through a Korean media outlet Daum on Wednesday.
The media outlet reported that Irene solidified her commitment to the Korean entertainment agency out of "mutual trust and partnership."
Her fellow member, Seulgi, also reportedly renewed her contract.
As per Soompi translation, SM Entertainment showed massive support to Irene’s various directions so she can promote actively as a global artist.
Irene said that she has renewed her contract with SM Entertainment for making her who is right now, while looking back at the time when she first debut.
The Korean singer gave hints about her diverse activities with her Red Velvet groupmates.
Irene debut as the leader, visual, center, lead dancer of the girl group in 2014.
