A radio broadcaster was shot dead on Wednesday morning in Oriental Mindoro, according to a statement released by the Philippine National Police (PNP).

The victim, identified as Cresenciano Aldovino Bunduquin, a 50-year-old married media personality, lost his life when two unidentified individuals on a motorcycle opened fire at him in Barangay Sta. Isabel, Oriental Mindoro.

The incident occurred at approximately 4:20 AM, as reported by the Police Regional Office Mimaropa.

The local authorities, in cooperation with the PNP, have launched a hot pursuit operation to track down and apprehend the two suspects responsible for the killing.
