A woman affililiated with the crimes of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) founder Pastor Apollo Quiboloy was arrested in Davao City on Thursday, July 11.

At around 2:00 p.m., joint teams from the Davao Regional Police, Intelligence Group, Special Action Force, and the Criminal Investigation Group arrested Paulene Canada at a subdivision in Barangay Buhangin in Davao City.

Canada is listed in the Police Regional Office 11 as number six in their most wanted fugitives. She is the first one caught out of the four remaining respondents affilitated with Quiboloy's case namely: Cresente Canada, Ingrid Canada, Jackielyn Roy, and Sylvia Cemanes.

Earlier this week, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) publicly announced a P10 million bounty for Quiboloy's arrest. It was then stated that a P1 million bounty was put up by unnamed private individuals for the capture of the others.

The mentioned individuals are subjected to face Qualified Human Trafficking and Child Abuse under the Anti-Trafficking in Person Act of 2003, or RA 10208.

Canada is currently under the custody the Buhangin Police Station.

Quiboloy is still in hiding since the announcement of his arrest order.
