"Kinukumpirma po natin na hawak na natin si Pastor Quiboloy, Jackielyn Roy, Ingrid Canada, Cresente Canada at si Sylvia Cemañes po," PNP Spokesperson PCol. Jean Fajardo said during an interview with the media.
According to Fajardo, Quiboloy and his four co-accused surrendered at the KOJC compound at around 5:30 in the afternoon. The group was then transported by a C-130 plane from Davao to Villamor in Pasay at around 6:30 in the evening.
They arrived at Villamor around 8:30 in the evening and reached the PNP custodial facility at approximately 9:10.
Upon arrival at the PNP Custodial Facility at Camp Crame, Quiboloy and his cohorts underwent booking proceedings, which included fingerprinting, a mugshot, and physical and medical examinations.
"Nasa maayos naman po silang kondisyon although some of them, based po doon sa medical examination po, medyo mataas po 'yung BP," said Fajardo.
"But other than that, okay naman po sila at tuloy-tuloy po 'yung processing po ngayon," she added.
Fajardo reiterated that Quiboloy's apprehension is the result of a joint effort by the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and PNP.
"Sa loob po ng KOJC compound natin sila nakuha,"Fajardo said in response to a question about the location where Quiboloy surrendered.
Upon their arrival at the custodial center, the warrant of arrest was served for Quiboloy’s cases of child abuse, sexual abuse, and qualified human trafficking. Their Miranda Rights were also read to all of the accused.
Fajardo mentioned that Quiboloy's surrender was the result of negotiations and a 24-hour ultimatum given by the authorities.
"Nagbigay po ang PNP po ng ultimatum na sumuko po sila, otherwise po ay papasukin na po natin 'yung isang particular building na hindi po tayo pinapayagan pong pumasok," said Fajardo.
