Pastor Apollo Quiboloy, who claims to be the "appointed son of God", has alleged that the United States government conspired with the administration of President Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr. to "eliminate" him.
In an audio recording posted by SMNI on Wednesday, February 21, Quiboloy said his reliable sources tipped him about the plan between the American government and the Marcos administration.
"Dumating sa aming kaalaman, sa mga sandaling ito, from reliable sources, correct me if I am wrong but these are relibale sources that have reached me na ayaw na raw nila ng extradition treaty. Ang kanilang daw gagawin, ng FBI, the US Embassy, and the State Department kasabwat ng ating gobyerno ng Pangulong Marcos, and First Lady [Liza Araneta-Marcos], kung sino pa man ang nasa gobyerno, ay rendition," he said.
Quiboloy defined rendition as "forced entry" to his compound and kidnap him. He warned that if this happened, he might be assassinated.
"Nando'n sa dalawang iyon, kidnaping or assasination. Killing talaga, murder. Ayun ang dumating na balita sa akin from reliable sources," the religious leader said, adding that he knew about the plan since 2018.
Quiboloy challenged the chief executive and his wife to falsify or correct his claims.
"'Di po ba na sa sarili kong bansa, nawala na ang aking constitutional rights sapagkat ako ay ibinigay na sa kamay ng mga banyaga na ito ng ating sariling gobyerno, ni Pangulong Marcos at First Lady Araneta-Marcos. Huwag kayong magkaila. Kung totoo itong sinasabi ko, angkinin niyo. Kung hindi, i-correct ninyo. Ang buhay ko ngayon ay nanganganib," he said.
Quiboloy claimed that 11 compounds he owned were allegedly surveyed by drones, day and night, making them anxious to sleep.
The Kingdom of Jesus Christ founder is facing sex and labor trafficking charges in America and he has been in the US Federal Bureau of Investigation's wanted list since 2022.
Meanwhile, in a statement, the US Embassy in Manila expressed its confidence that Quiboloy "will face justice for his heinous crimes."
"For more than a decade, Apollo Quiboloy engaged in serious human rights abuses, including a pattern of systemic and pervasive rape of girls as young as 11 years old, and he is currently on the FBI’s Most Wanted List," it said.
