The De La Salle Green Archers delivered an emphatic statement last night at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, crushing the Adamson University Falcons with a commanding 82-52 victory.

Despite coming off a nail-biting win against National University, the Green Archers showed no signs of fatigue as they took control of the game from the first quarter and never looked back.

Reigning MVP Kevin Quiambao’s all-around performance set the tone for De La Salle, ensuring they maintained their lead throughout the game.

He spearheaded the offensive onslaught, contributing 21 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals, and a block.

Adding to the Green Archers’ dominance was UAAP Season 86 Junior’s Mythical Team member Doy Dungo, who chipped in with 15 points.

“Sinabi lang kasi sa ‘min ni Coach [Topex] na maglaro kami para sa isa’t isa at huwag naming tingnan ‘yung score... ‘Yung goal ko kapag pinapasok ako sa court at ibigay ko lang ‘yung 100 percent ko at maka-contribute ako sa game,” Dungo shared.

Head Coach Topex Robinson emphasized the team’s mindset, stating, “It's a testament of how much we really value every opportunity na meron kami to really do our best, that's just the way we wanted to play all the time.”

”It doesn't matter who are we going to play with, we will always gonna treat each game a championship,” he added.

Up next, De La Salle will face their arch-rivals, Ateneo de Manila University, on Sunday at the Mall of Asia Arena.
