Malacañang cautioned Filipinos to be vigilant against scams, fraud, and different forms of deception during the holiday season.
According to a report by RH Leth Narciso, a post from the "Maging Mapanuri" page of the Presidential Communications Office (PCO) urged the public to remain vigilant amid the holiday festivities.
Phishing and fraudulent transactions are among the prevalent scams during the holiday season, as many people are busy buying products and services.
Moreover, scams involving fake charities and fake relatives are often seen during such events as well.
