A statistician of the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) was shot dead by unidentified gunmen in Quezon City on Tuesday morning.
The 54-year-old victim, identified as Namer Ariate, was riding a tricycle with two others when two suspects shot him in Barangay Payatas.&nbsp;
Due to the number of bullet hits, Ariate was declared dead-on-arrival at the hospital, while two of his companions were wounded.
The suspects fled from the scene, boarding a motorcycle toward Sta. Ana street.&nbsp;

Authorities have checked the area for surveillance camera video to check the tsuspects&rsquo; identities.
