The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) reported that there were no records available for Mary Grace Piattos, an alleged recipient of confidential funds from the Office of the Vice President (OVP).
The document revealed that there are no records of birth, marriage, or death for Mary Grace Piattos in the PSA Civil Registry System (CRS) database.
The certification was signed by Dr. Dennis S. Mapa, the National Statistician and Civil Registrar General.
Mapa explained that if further details, like the names of the subject’s parents or the specific date and place of the event, are provided, the agency can reassess the records to verify whether the civil registry document exists in the database.
"Issued this 25th day of November 2024 to District Representative Joel Chua, Chairperson of the Committee on Good Government and Public Accountability, relative to an investigation being conducted by your committee," Mapa said in the certification.
