A prosecutor’s lawyer license has been withdrawn after his foul remarks towards justices and insulting the bar confidant, according to the Supreme Court (SC).
Perla Ramirez was disbarred by the SC for violating the lawyer’s oath and code of professional responsibility and accountability.
It was not the first time that Ramirez displayed her rough behavior, as she was previously suspended in July 2014 for a complaint filed by the residents and employees of the condominium where she lived for her offensive behavior from 1990 to 2007.
The prosecutor appealed the judgment and was advised by Atty. Maria Crisanta Layusa, a former bar confidant, submitted a sworn statement to prove that she did not practice the profession while being suspended.
However, Ramirez questioned the former bar confidant, called her "a witch," and even asked the judges if they had passed the bar examination.
