The Philippine National Police (PNP) PRO-5 reported three fatalities in the Bicol Region due to the onslaught of Tropical Storm “Kristine.”
In a report by RH Edniel Parrosa, Police Regional Office-5 Director PBGen. Andre Dizon confirmed the casualties reported as of 6:00 AM today.
Besides the recorded casualties, six people sustained injuries, and one individual has been reported missing following the storm’s impact.
The PNP is still expected to provide details on the specific locations where the incidents were recorded, as they are the first responders to the storm.
Police officers are actively patrolling to carry out potential rescues or evacuate residents affected by the storm.
Meanwhile, the reported figures will still undergo verification by the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC). According to the NDRRMC's report, three individuals remain missing at this time.
