President Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos Jr. has tapped lawyer Jose Arturo 'Jay Art' Maddela Tugade as the new Acting General Manager of the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA).

The Office of the Press Secretary has confirmed Tugade’s appointment on Wednesday, Oct. 26.

He will be replacing outgoing MIAA General Manager Cesar Chiong.

Tugade is also set to lead as the CEO and Board of Directors Member of MIAA, the appointment document reads.

He is the youngest son of former Transport Secretary Arthur Tugade.
