Following his "very good" net satisfaction rating in the latest Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. has vowed to work even harder.

Marcos received a very good net satisfaction rating of +68 based on the December 2022 survey, which is five points higher than his October 2022 rating of +63.

Vice President and Secretary of Education (DepEd) Sara Z. Duterte, meanwhile, received an excellent net satisfaction rating of +77, four points higher than her +73 rating in October of last year.

"Nagpapasalamat ang buong Marcos-Duterte administration sa tiwala ng ating mga kababayan sa ating pamumuno," the president said on his official Facebook page.

Under the UniTeam ticket, Marcos and Duterte easily won the presidential and vice presidential elections on May 9, 2022.

UniTeam is a play on their unity platform, as they promised to pursue economic recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic's effects.

Dr. Froilan Calilung, a political science professor at the University of Santo Tomas, previously stated that Marcos' high rating could be attributed, among other things, to his efforts to attract more foreign direct investments through his foreign trips.

Despite receiving high satisfaction ratings, Calilung said Marcos "should not be complacent" and should step up efforts to address the nation's and people's needs.

SWS terminology for net satisfaction ratings is +70 an above (excellent); +50 to +69 (very good); +30 to +49 (good); +10 to +29 (moderate); +9 to -9 (neutral); -10 to -29 (poor): -30 to -49 (bad); -50 to -69 (very bad); and -70 and below (execrable).
