President Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr. together with his children, family, and friends threw a surprise birthday party for First Lady Louise 'Liza' Araneta-Marcos as she turned 63 over the weekend.
"To my beloved wife, words have already been said as to how valuable she is as a person and how remarkable she really is. Sometimes it's really hard to believe that she did me a favor of marrying me," the President said in a video posted on his official Facebook page and YouTube.
Araneta-Marcos celebrated her birthday on Sunday, August 21.
In a short speech, presidential son Ilocos Norte First District Representative Sandro Marcos poked fun at his mother for being embarrassed about the surprise party.
“I can see my mom getting nahihiya (embarrassed) and telling Carmela that she’s fired and telling Eve that she’s fired and that everyone who organized this is now fired,” he said.
“Mom, happy happy birthday. We all love you so so much,” he added.
A special video dedicated to the First Lady was also shown at the event.
