Priscilla Meirelles denied the recent statement of her husband that they had a "mutual agreement" of separation.
In an Instagram Story on Tuesday night, Meirelles said she was shocked and disheartened by Estarada's statement.
"To clarify there was never any mutual agreement regarding our separation. We were married when I left the Philippines and we remain married as of this time," the former beauty queen said.
"While there is indeed more to this story, it is not the appropriate time to delve into those details. Regardless of what those may be, however, it won't change the course of faith," she added.
Meirelles's statement came after John Estrada's statement in defense of the viral comment by Meirelles on his Instagram post when he was in Boracay.
In the said post, a netizen asked who was with Estrada in Boracay. Netizens were shocked when Meirelles commented, "Looking very divorced, Mr. Estrada @ Lily Hallman_,"
Although Estrada turned off the comment section of the post, a screenshot of Priscilla's comment was caught by a netizen.

To respond to the viral screenshot, the actor went on Instagram Stories and clarified that he is not in a relationship with Lily Hallman.
"I just met her [Lily] in Boracay. I had a short break from work and felt the need for a breather," Estrada said.
"This is a private family matter that's why I ask for privacy as we deal with this," he added.
