The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced the postponement of the Certified Public Accountants Licensure Examination originally set for October 25, 26, and 27, 2024. The examination will be rescheduled to a later date.
The postponement is attributed to the onslaught and ongoing impact of the severe tropical storm Kristine in Luzon and other parts of the Visayas, which is affecting examinees and various testing centers across the country.
"Please wait for further announcement on the new schedule of exam," the advisory released on Thursday read.
Examinees are advised to contact the PRC's Licensure Office at [email protected] or reach out to the relevant PRC Regional Office for any questions or concerns.
The PRC had previously canceled the October 2024 CPALE in Legazpi City due to the ongoing rainfall brought by severe tropical storm Kristine.
