Personnel of the Philippine National Railways (PNR) are still trying to remove the train that was derailed near Don Bosco in Makati City on Tuesday morning.
In in its latest update as of 7 am on Wednesday, the PNR management said it has dispatched 70 individuals since yesterday for the rerailing operation.
"Kapag natapos ang pag-iinkaril, at naitalagang ligtas na daanan, agad na maglalabas ang pamunuan ng panibagong iskedyul na magbibigay serbisyo sa buong linya ng Metro South Commuter (MSC) na aabot hanggang Calamba, Laguna," it said.
The trips are still limited from Governor Pascual station to Tutuban station, Tutuban station to Dela Rosa station and vice versa, according to the railway management.
The PNR management asked for the public's understanding and patience.
The train, carrying 400 passengers, was derailed in Makati City at 11:20 am on Tuesday while it was en route to Alabang. The PNR management immediately suspended the operation of several trips.
No passengers were reported injured or hurt.
The railway management is still investigating the cause of the incident.
