Fajardo said the investigators from the Nueva Ecija Police Provincial Office are currently in Isabela to hear the witnesses' narratives.
Among those who will face multiple cases are the two gunmen and the mastermind of the heinous crime. Authorities did not mention the identity of the individuals.
Fajardo, however, said evidence collected showed that the two gunmen, who were identified through the CCTV camera inside the bus, appeared to be guns for hire.
The PNP said it is confident that its holders will strengthen the evidence that will put pressure on the suspects, especially the mastermind.
One of the persons who are being investigated is the male son of the female victim, who allegedly has something to do with the crime that occurred.
