The Philippine National Police have identified the victims of the massacre in the town of Peñaranda, Nueva Ecija, that left four dead and one wounded after an unknown suspect attacked the victims riding in three tricycles at Barangay Callos Pasado at around 8:00 p.m. on October 10.

In a report by RH 25 Grace Sansano, among the casualties are Melvin Gonzales, 27; Joseph Valdisio Nava, 38; Jay-ar Quizon-Fajardo, 37; and Reynaldo Quizon-Fajardo, 38, while Jessis Baldivicio-Nava, 31, was wounded.

The suspects who fled while riding motorcycles are now in hot pursuit, and the motive for the said crime is being determined.
