Transport groups Manibela and Pagkakaisa ng mga Samahan ng Tsuper at Operator Nationwide (PISTON) conducted a rally on Tuesday to urge the Supreme Court to release a temporary restraining order (TOR).

As reported by Boy Gonzales during Damdaming Bayan, the two groups united to push the country's highest court to release a TOR to stop the public utility vehicle modernization (PUVN) program of the government.
At least 30 members reportedly joined the protest.
According to the group, their success in stopping the Jeepney phaseout will be a success for the Filipino people.
"Samahan niyo kami na mapagtagumpayan ang laban na ito!," Manibela president Mar Valbuena said during the rally.
"Ang tagumpay ng mga jeepney drivers at operators hindi lamang tagumpay ng ating mga pamilya, hindi lamang tagumoya ng ng mga indibidwal, tagumpay ng taumbayan, tagumpay ng ating ekonomiya!" he remarked.
