#NowTrending artists were witnessed along the CCP Complex during Aliwan Fiesta 2024, kicking off the 3-day event with the thrilling Pasakalye Concert on Thursday, June 27.

Hosted by DJ Robin Sienna and DJ Conyo Bicolano of Love Radio Manila, the crowd got wild when the lineup of star-studded artists was introduced.

Gracing the concert was the Filipino boy group, Yes My Love, with members Joshua, Niko, Jeff, Brian, and RZ, who serenaded the audience with their spin of Bruno Mars' song "Leave the Door Open" and the OPM songs "Gisingin ang Puso," "Laging Naroon Ka," and "Ako na lang".

Another performer was Idol Philippines Season 2 contender Ryssi Avila. Her mesmerizing voice impressed the audience as she sang the songs "Alipin," "Rainbow," and Sarah Geronimo's "Kilometro".

Meanwhile, singer-songwriter Arthur Miguel made her fans teary after singing his painful songs such as "Dati," "Maling Panahon," and "Lihim".

The dance group Auxbeat juggled the audience with their electrifying performance of trending TikTok dance hits.

Last but not least, Filipino band Dilaw vocalist and composer Dilaw Obrero rocked the audience with his nerve-wracking performance on stage. The band played their songs "Maksara," "Orasa," "Nilalang," "Chinelas," and "Janice," closing the musical night with their hit song "Uhaw".

Paskalye Concert has been a long-time part of the Aliwan Fiesta, bringing the vibe of Philippine fiestas and highlighting the music culture among Filipinos.

Before the Pasakalye Concert, the Tugtog ng Aliwan Competition happened at 5 p.m. where the drum and lyre team of Iloilo's Dinagyang Festival won.

The second day of the grandest festival will be the Reyna ng Aliwan pageant, while the streetdance and float competition will be on Saturday, June 29, with the most-awaited parade.
