Police seized around Php 6.8 million worth of crystal methamphetamine, locally known as shabu, and arrested four high-value suspects during an operation on Wednesday, September 11, in Taytay, Rizal.
Reports identified the suspects as alias 'Oski', 40 years old; 'Verly', 33-years old; 'Sittie', 32-years old;, and 'Jesus', 50-years old.
PBGen. Eleazar Matta, director of the Philippine National Police - Drug Enforcement Group (PDEG), said that the four distributes illegal drugs in Metro Manila, and nearby areas.
Matta said that one of the suspects, alias 'Verly', has links to a deceased drug suspect while another, alias 'Oski' also face charges for murder.
PDEG Special Operations Unit 4A currently has custody over the four suspects as well as 1.01 kilograms of shabu and non-drug evidence snagged during the operation in Brgy. San Juan, Taytay.
