The Philippines will begin on Monday, April 25, to administer a second booster shot to immunocompromised individuals to ensure that they remain protected against the 2019 Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19).
As part of the preparations, the Department of Health (DOH) Usec. Myrna Cabotaje, who also chairs the National Vaccination Operations Center (NVOC), said that an orientation happened on Saturday, April 23, for health workers in Luzon
Meanwhile, the orientation for health workers in Visayas and Mindanao happened on Sunday, April 24.
NVOC targets to administer a second booster to up to 13,000 immunocompromised adults during the first day of the rollout.
